Ingredients

1.0 lb Pizza dough
0.75 cup Pizza sauce
2.0 cups Shredded mozzarella
0.25 cup Grated parmesan
1.0 tbsp Olive oil
0.25 cup Fresh basil leaves
0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone if available.
  2. Stretch pizza dough into a 14-inch circle on parchment paper or a floured pizza peel.
  3. Spread sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and a little parmesan.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh basil if using.
  7. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
