1.0 lb Pizza dough
0.75 cup Pizza sauce
2.0 cups Shredded mozzarella
0.25 cup Grated parmesan
1.0 tbsp Olive oil
0.25 cup Fresh basil leaves
0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone if available.
- Stretch pizza dough into a 14-inch circle on parchment paper or a floured pizza peel.
- Spread sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and a little parmesan.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh basil if using.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
