Ingredients

2.0 lbs Chicken thighs
0.5 cup Greek yogurt
2.0 tbsp Lemon juice
2.0 tbsp Garam masala
4.0 tbsp Butter
1.0 large Onion
4.0 cloves Garlic
1.0 tbsp Ginger
2.0 cups Tomato puree
1.0 cup Heavy cream
1.0 tbsp Sugar
0.25 cup Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, lemon juice, and spices for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake chicken for 15 minutes.
  3. In a large pot, melt butter and sauté onions until soft.
  4. Add garlic, ginger, and spices, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Add tomato puree and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in cream and sugar, then add cooked chicken.
  7. Simmer for 10 more minutes and garnish with cilantro.
